Road Kill

This piece was inspired by my drive to school one morning when I saw several animals hit and run over by cars. I saw a half-dead raccoon, several dead squirrels, and finally, a dead deer.  I was struck by how little attention and thought we seem to give to these casualties of modern life.  I decided to draw a deer trapped  in a car tire to illustrate the plight of animals in a car-based world.
