Meme Remix Sketch-Animal Crossing and DOOM

Project

The objective of this project is to take a meme and hook it up to a MakeyMakey kit. There are four buttons and four clips of memes. The idea is to create a new video based off of other videos.

Video 1

The first video is with the MakeyMakey kit. I added the four filters at the bottom of the video to show the filters I am switching between. To switch the video clips I press numbers one-to-four, and to change the filters I press the space bar.

Video 2 - Making a Video to then Break into parts for MakeyMakey

I made a video in Adobe Premiere Pro with a bunch of animations based off the DOOM and Animal Crossing Meme. After making a video I liked, I then broke it up to 4 different parts to then use with the MakeyMakey.

Meme

I chose the meme, Isabelle from Animal Crossing x Doomguy from DOOM. This meme became popular due to Animal Crossing: New Horizons and DOOM Eternal sharing the same release date this past March the 20th.

Isabelle is adorable and the mayor of Animal Crossing, and Doomguy is the protagonist of DOOM. The two stories are completely opposite. It was funny to some that Isabelle, an adorable sweet puppy, was in Super Smash Bros fighting characters. So it definitely went crazy when the two games shared a release date.

Lots of memes were created with Doomguy having a secret inner soft center and Isabelle having an edge side.
